Rum Dinner ExperienceExperience a lovely Caribbean tasting trip at Cane Rum Society in Stockholm, a restaurant and bar that specializes in rum and has a “Rare Rum Library” full of unusual and unique rum varieties. Once you have settled down at your table in the warm and welcoming restaurant, choose two or three dishes with lovely Caribbean flavours from the menu. For dinner, a tasting tray with various selected rum varieties is served to complement the dishes and provide an overall experience of the Caribbean's scents and flavours. Rum Tasting ExperienceCane Rum Society is a Caribbean restaurant and bar in Hagastaden in Stockholm with rum at its core. Here you can experience an exciting rum tasting experiences that takes you on an initiated taste sensation around the world of sugarcane-based beverage. The experience, led by a knowledgeable host, begins with an introduction to the history and production of rum and then continues with a tasting of a unique combination of rum varieties in the restaurant's impressive Rare Rum Library. In the Rum Library, owner Duane has collected rums from all over the world, ranging from well-known and popular brands to well sought after rarities. An inspiring and exciting and tasty experience awaits you, this is experience is perfectly suited to do with friends or to give as a gift to that special someone. If you wish to have a private rum tasting, minimum of 10 people to book and it will cost 695kr per person. To book such an event please contact us via email info@canerumsociety.com Book a table in our restaurant to eat after the rum tasting has finished. You are welcome to book a table in our restaurant for a culinary Caribbean experience after the rum tasting. You make the table reservation separately via our website www.canerumsociety.com, in addition to booking the rum tasting here.

About Cane Rum Society

In Hagastaden in Stockholm hides a Caribbean gem specializing in Caribbean cuisine & rum -- this combined rum bar and restaurant (Cane Rum Society) is co owned by Duane Paul Shepherd.

Rum has followed Duane through most of his life. Already at the very tender age of 16 he opened his first restaurant opposite a rum distillery in Trinidad. He later moved to London to “broaden his horizons,” and this is where he began working with different rum brands which helped him to broaden his knowledge and deepen his love for rum. Today he can sometimes be found hosting private events and rum tasting experiences at Cane Rum Society.
